Terms of Service

Operative is a booking platform. We facilitate the connection between Clients and third-party Providers of personal security services, including but not limited to:

• Armed and unarmed bodyguard services
• Armored transport
• Airport pickup and drop-off
• Undercover protection
• Identity verification (optional add-on)

We do not employ security personnel directly. All Providers operate as independent contractors or companies and are responsible for their conduct and services.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Operative platform. By booking a service, you affirm that you are doing so for lawful purposes and personal protection only.

• Bookings must be made in advance via our platform.
• Prices are listed in USD and are subject to local taxes, location surcharges, and availability.
• Full payment is required to confirm any booking.
• We accept secure online payment via credit card, debit card, or supported wallets (e.g., Apple Pay).
• No cash payments will be accepted.

Clients are expected to:

• Provide accurate information regarding location, time, and risk context
• Abide by local laws and regulations
• Treat Providers with respect and refrain from abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct
• Not request illegal services or use security personnel for intimidation, extortion, or coercion

Failure to adhere to these responsibilities may result in termination of services and a report to local authorities.

All Providers:

• Undergo background checks and verification procedures
• Are required to comply with local licensing, use-of-force regulations, and professional standards
• Operate under contracts that prohibit unlawful or unethical conduct

However, Operative does not and cannot guarantee Provider performance or outcomes. Use of any Provider is at your own risk.

Operative provides access to third-party security services "as-is" and "as-available." While we strive to vet Providers carefully, we do not warrant the safety, legality, reliability, or fitness of any Provider or service.

We are not responsible for:

• Acts or omissions of Providers
• Delays or failures due to local conditions (traffic, unrest, weather, etc.)
• Losses or damages resulting from misuse of services
• Client's own actions that increase risk exposure

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operative shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform or any Provider services. Our total liability, for any reason, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or deny service at any time if we suspect fraud, abuse, violation of these Terms, or conduct that could endanger Providers or others.

Operative may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance. The most recent version will always be available at myoperative.co/tos.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, unless otherwise required by local jurisdiction. Any disputes arising shall be handled in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
